Prison Mission Interactive Experience
Developed an innovative interactive educational experience for Hong Kong Correctional Services Department, transforming Ma Hang Prison into a unique immersive learning environment that educates youth about crime prevention and rehabilitation through gamified challenges.


The Challenge
The Hong Kong Correctional Services Department (CSD) needed an innovative approach to engage secondary school students in crime prevention education. Traditional lectures and presentations were not effectively capturing youth attention or conveying the serious consequences of criminal behavior.
The challenge was to create an immersive educational experience that would:
- Transform a real prison environment into an engaging learning space
- Help students understand the daily work of correctional officers
- Demonstrate the consequences of crime through experiential learning

The Solution
RedSo developed "Prison Mission" (監獄任務), a groundbreaking escape room-style educational experience that transforms Ma Hang Prison into an interactive learning environment combining mobile technology, physical installations, and gamification.
Smart Investigation App
Custom tablet application enabling students to role-play as correctional officers, conducting investigations through 18 interactive challenge stations with real-time feedback and progress tracking.
18 Challenge Stations
Strategically placed interactive stations throughout the prison simulating real scenarios: investigating misconduct, preventing illegal activities, and creating rehabilitation plans for inmates.
Team-Based Gameplay
